August 27, 2019 President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs Alexander Shokhin visited in Kazan closing ceremony of the world championship of professional skills WorldSkills.
In front of a huge audience of "Kazan Arena" with a welcome speech by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Russian leader called the shared responsibility of all countries participating in the WorldSkills movement, the preservation and use of heritage of the past in the stage, "to every man regardless of age and health, could realize all their abilities, could choose their own path of learning and development, to acquire skills throughout their lives."
"Russia is open to joint work on the creation of accessible, continuous model of training. So together we can meet the challenges of the coming technological era, to provide sustainable development, to create conditions for welfare of people", - Putin said, calling it a "truly civilized" tasks.
According to him, to WorldSkills Russia have already joined the half a million citizens, "and the number of participants is steadily growing." In addition, Putin continued, the movement became "the most important element of an advanced system of professional education", which is formed in Russia, including in the specialties of the digital economy.
"We are changing our colleges provide a broad, unparalleled in the world of opportunities for children to engage in technical creativity and happy that our experience was in demand", - said Putin.
The competition was attended by 1300 participants from 63 countries. They competed in 56 categories: construction, industry, information and communication technology and transport, services, design and more.
WorldSkills international is a worldwide movement whose goal is to promote working professions, raising the status and standards of vocational training and qualifications across the globe. The world championship WorldSkills is the world's largest competition of professional skill. The Russian Federation joined the international movement WorldSkills in 2012. Today, the Union of "Young professionals (WorldSkills Russia)" covers all regions, 3.5 thousand colleges, universities, 160, 25 largest companies.
Earlier in the office of the Association of enterprises and businessmen of Tatarstan (regional branch RSPP) held a meeting with RSPP President Alexander Shokhin with chiefs of Tatarstan enterprises. They discussed topical issues of business development, including issues of social responsibility of business, discussed the state of Affairs in the industry, highlighted the problems of development and improvement of control and Supervisory activities.
Alexander Shokhin visited one of the largest machine-building enterprises of Russia - Kazan motor production Association, where he familiarized with production of gas-pipe engines, new developments for transport and distribution of natural gas, visited the educational-industrial complex enterprises.
